Description
Looking to do something different for your next team-building event in the Beaujolais region? Set off on a treasure hunt along the Saône River, departing from Rochetaillée-sur-Saône or Lyon, and discover the surrounding area from a whole new perspective. At the helm of motorboats that require no licence, your colleagues become part of an exciting nautical adventure where observation, problem-solving and cooperation are essential.
As you cruise along the river, your mission unfolds with the help of a roadbook, a tailor-made map and a tablet featuring unexpected challenges. Find the checkpoints, solve the riddles and complete the various missions. Some challenges will even encourage you to step outside your comfort zone by taking photos or recording videos along the way!
This treasure hunt on the Saône River is an original activity, perfect for adding excitement to a corporate seminar and strengthening team spirit. Each crew must earn points, crack the secret code and try to unlock the cryptex protecting the treasure. A fun nautical adventure that puts your communication, observation skills and teamwork to the test!

This nautical treasure hunt can start from one of two locations:
- Either from Rochetaillée-sur-Saône, on the edge of the Beaujolais, sailing to the gates of Lyon before heading back to your starting point.
- Or from the Darse nautique de Confluence in Lyon, sailing along the Saône as far as the Île Barbe before turning around and returning to your starting point.

No. The boats can be operated without a licence after a safety briefing provided by the Takamaka team.
Where does the Saône treasure hunt take place in Beaujolais ?
The Treasure Hunt on the Saône can be done:
- Either starting from Rochetaillée-sur-Saône, on the edge of the Beaujolais, sailing to the gates of Lyon before heading back to your starting point.

Can the activity go ahead in rainy weather?
The activity can easily go ahead in light rain, as the boats are equipped with canopies to shelter participants. Ponchos are also provided to ensure maximum comfort throughout the experience.
In the event of heavy rainfall that could compromise participants’ safety, the activity may be postponed. Alternatively, the Takamaka team will work with you to find a suitable alternative and put a Plan B in place.
What time of year can this activity be organised?
The activity is available from late March to late October, depending on weather conditions.
How many people can each boat accommodate?
Some of our boats can accommodate up to 7 participants, while others can hold up to 10.
